Discover life through death!

Twelve Gates is a TTRPG where two people, the Lost and the Psychopomp, journey through the afterlife and discover who the Lost was in life. They will replay memories and the Lost will face challenges or risk getting swept away in the sands of time amongst the faceless dead.

The game was inspired largely by the Egyptian Amduat and Book of Gates and the theming of the sheets/logos reflects that, but you can play through an afterlife that has nothing to do with Egypt. The afterlife is a blank slate for the Lost and Psychopomp to decide on before playing.

At the end...

• You'll know the Lost
• The Lost will be named
• The Lost will get to their eternal resting place (Is the afterlife divided into Good/Bad/Medium places or is everyone together?)

To play:

• You'll need four dice (d6, d8, d10, d12)
• Two-plus people
• A copy of the rules and a sheet
• Enough time to explore at least a few gates if not the whole journey. (Expect 2-3 gates an hour, depending on how descriptive and long the memories are)
